YouTube goes 3D

YouTube is taking its video sharing what nots into the next generation with a spot of 3D video experimentation that is sure to make things stick out of your screen a bit. It’s the future!

Techy investigators Search Engine Roundtable have done some sleuthing on YouTube and found some intriguing discoveries; some of the videos they found were shot in 3D and had options for use with different coloured 3D spec lenses. Not only that, but a YouTube desk monkey even told them that he was working on stereoscopic options, and has released the HTML code that will allow you to put up your own 3D vids.

All you need now is a camera that films 3D content, and you’re away. Sooner or later this is going to go on porn sites, but for now let’s bask in the innocent joy of it all.
