Yet more Revelations

A little bit more Assassin’s Creed Revelations gossip has leaked out, this time giving fans a little look at where we will get to run, jump and stab while we trek around Turkey. As ever it sounds like the Ubisoft team have got some stellar ideas that will blow your socks off.

The game starts of in Maysaf, which will be significant for those who played the first game (only because it’s a location in the first game), before moving onto Constantinople (AKA Istanbul), where the city will be divided up into four sections, much like Rome was in Brotherhood. Then we have the Templar city of Cappadocia, which is almost completely underground, and will be full of tunnels and caverns. Yet to be confirmed in the single player is Rhodes, which will feature in the multiplayer and we’re willing to bet will end up being the first DLC.

‘This is the center of the known world at that time,’ said the game’s creative director Alexandre Amancio. ‘The spice trading and all that related trade happened through Constantinople. It was one of the main reasons that Europeans tried to go around Africa - because Constantinople was this great hub controlled by the Ottomans. And, essentially, everything needed to go through that city.’
