Electronics giant LG has announced what it claims is the first high definition LCD TV to support WiFi. It’s big (52 inches), flat and wireless, meaning it can stream high definition video from storage media without using a separate hub.
With the multiplicity of things you can plug into the back of a telly these days, wireless does sound pretty appealing. But the best thing about WiFi, as we all secretly know, is how easy it is to pick up your neighbour’s broadband connection for no money whatsoever. Which is, of course, illegal and not something we would ever encourage.
