A while back we showed you a neat little app that was put up for Apple to think about by a clever chap called Greg Hughes. Called the Wi-Fi Sync App, it did exactly what it said on the tin, namely allow you to wirelessly sync your iPhone through the wonders of Wi-Fi (yes we know you need to connect it to your computer to charge the thing – but screw you, yeah?). However Apple, as is their usually way, have decided that having such a handy app breaks some rule or other and therefore it won’t be available in the App Store.
‘While he agreed that the app doesn't technically break the rules, he said that it does encroach upon the boundaries of what they can and cannot allow on their store,’ said poor old Greg. ‘He also cited security concerns.’ Don’t worry though, if you’ve been smart enough to jailbreak your device, you can buy it for $9.99 on Cydia. So get to it.
