Remember the days when kids were delighted to get an orange and a lump of coal in their Christmas stocking? No, nor do we, but we can’t help feeling a little nostalgic for the simple things in life when we read about what’s happening in downtown digital toyland.
First, we’ve had the joys of the Nintendo Wii, and now Sega is taking technology one step further by creating a toy that you can control with your mind. The company has teamed up with NeuroSky which is already using bio-sensor technology to enable users to don headsets and move objects in a special game around by just thinking about it. The next step, apparently, is a toy.
Will this eventually make the Wii look about as high-tech as space hopper? We await developments with interest…
