Wanna be a Nazi? There’s an app for that

It may be the 20th Anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down but Apple have been left red faced after they approved a copy of Adolf Hitler’s book ‘Mein Kampf’ for use in their app store at the weekend.

The application, which had a download price of £1.19, had a swastika as the app’s icon. The copy that somehow slipped through the net (quite literally) was a Spanish language eBook of the dictator’s novel - which features a plethora of racist content. It’s not know if anyone complained or how many copies of the app, if any were downloaded but Apple eventually saw their mistake and removed it within 24 hours of it being available.

Almost as embarrassing as Gordon Brown's letter to a grieving soldier's mother this morning....
