Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta revealed
Naughty Dog has announced that the Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta will be made available to the public from 28 June, causing much knicker-wetting from PlayStation 3 owners.
The beta, which will initially go to PS Plus subscribers before being made available to everyone on 4 July, will run until 13 July, with the player cap will be level 25. It also comes with a wealth of game modes, six of which have been discovered by IGN. These modes are: ‘Team Deathmatch, 3-Team Deathmatch (three teams of two face off), Team Objective (complete the assigned goals), Free For All (kill everyone), Plunder (capture the treasure), [and] High Stakes (gamble with your XP and cash).’
As well as that there will be 5v5, 2v2v2 and up to eight player games on two maps, both of which you can see below. One is a French chateau and the other is an airfield, and during play there will be dynamic events like airplane attacks. Gameplay will include eight boosters (Call of Duty-style perks) and four on-minute long power plays, in which the losing team will be given a chance to make a comeback. It all sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
