Uncharted 3 footage is stunning

So far at E3 this year the big news has been about games that are available for both next-gen platforms, like Batman: Arkham City or Assassin's Creed: Revelations. But there's another sequel that should be whetting the appetites of anyoone who owns a PS3: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. The sequel, which looks set to push cinematic gaming on to a whole other level, was unveiled last night, with a cinematic trailer and gameplay demonstration.

It's the latter which really impressed us, and which makes up the majority of the second half of the video below (the cinematic is also there at the beginning). Drake finds himself on a ship, which starts flooding after he sets an explosion off. You have to fight of enemies and find your way out of the flooding wreck, and each facet of gameplay is handled in a really smooth fashion: we jump from cut scene to action nicely, and the use of the boats motion is fantastic. Suffice to say that is also looks magic – take a look.
