Think your Galaxy Tab is obsolete?

One of the major downsides of having such a fast-moving and exciting world of gadgets and technology is that lots of hardware becomes entirely redundant after a very short space of time. One of the biggest victims of this in recent times has been the Samsung Galaxy Tab, which despite being an impressive piece of technology is already an old tab running an old operating system.

Thankfully for those of you who invested money is the device, help is at hand: some chap called Spacemoose1 at XDA has released a video of the Galaxy Tab running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, and while (at an admittedly early stage) it’s far from perfect it does mean that there should be a way of upgrading the operating system and making your device relevant again. Check it out, and try not to be too downhearted at how clunky it is: these things take time.
