The future of books

Publishers might not like it, but for the rest of us, Google Books is kinda great. Thousands of free books available for download. But, um, download? Who wants to read 'em on a screen? For those of us without an iPad, we need a way to turn Google Books into... well, books.

And now we have one! This super-nifty, albeit a bit big, machine is to be installed in bookshops and coffee shops across America.

Isn't it cool? The video states it can make books for less than a cent a page, so you're looking at potentially getting a 200-page book for a couple of dollars. Less than the price of the coffee you'll drink as you read it!

Plus this means one day, you'll be able to get embarassing reads like Jordan's latest children's book without actually being seen buying it from a counter...
