The Beeb to make TV available online

The BBC have announced they are to make their TV channels available to watch online.

The Web simulcasts, as geeks out there know them, will feature BBC One, BBC Two, BBC Three, BBC Four, CBBC, CBeebies and BBC News and can be watched through the bbc.co.uk and BBC iPlayer.

Director of BBC Vision Jana Bennett said: “From November 27 licence fee players will be able to watch BBC programmes, live, wherever they are in the UK on their computers, mobile phones and other portable devices."

Does this mean we can watch telly without having to fork out for the license fee?
