Surreality TV

Well, we've heard of geek culture, but this is ridiculous. After Tron legacy, and Pokemon the TV show, and Street Figher the movie, comes Pac-Man the TV show. The reality TV show.

No, we don't understand either. It's the brainchild of the company of Merv Griffin, the impresario behind the likes of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Apparently, the company wants to 'to take what Pac-Man is and bring it to life, to bring what is essentially the world's biggest game of tag to television.'

We think this basically means a sort of geeky Takeshi's Castle, with contestants running around a maze escaping ghosts. Which sounds like it could be really fun after a few pints.

We hope this'll be followed up with real-life Mario Bros, will real plumbers jumping around avoiding real lobsters...
