Music streaming service Spotify is launching CD quality streaming music through the site – but only for Premium subscribers.
It's going to be rolling out music with double the bitrate quality of the songs on the site from 160kb/s to 320kb/s. Spotify has said that it will be converting the whole back catalogue over the next few weeks, if you want to shell out £9.99 a month.
One other piece of bad news – Day Pass users are also not allowed access to the higher quality upgrade, which is a bit of a bummer for those of you who like to dip in and out of the site. Still, you could just download all the music for free instead, right?
