Which is the best Samsung WB600 HDMI cable?

So you've bought yourself a swanky new Samsung WB600 camera then? How are you finding it? We have to say, we found it to be one of the best cameras around in its price range, and can't get enough of ours.

The 12.2 megapixel photos shot with it are right up with the best we've seen to date, and we found the build quality to be among Samsung's best to date.

Where it really stands out though is the brilliant 15x optical zoom, which is accessible for both regular photographs and while shooting video. Despite the fact that it's not a true HD recording device, the WB600 is capable of recording at a more than adequate resolution of 1280 x 720, just short of the full HD standard of 1920 x 1080.

Of course, if you actually want to show off your high resolution handiwork to your friends on a big screen, you're going to need to find yourself a HDMI cable that will do the job. Sure you could save it to your computer, convert it to the appropriate format and then burn it as a video disc for playing in a DVD player, but isn't that just a little too much work?

Fortunately, finding the right Samsung WB600 HDMI cable isn't going to be a particularly big issue for you. As you may know, HD is a digital standard, which means that it either works or it doesn't. Don't let yourself get sucked into the rubbish that salespeople like to spout about superior image quality or better sound - that's simply not how HD works. Your TV will determine the picture quality, and your home sound system will cover the audio.

For the WB600, you're looking for a Type C HDMI cable. These are readily available, and really shouldn't cost you any more than £20 - and even that is at the pricier end of the scale!

Pop into your local electronics store and ask for help if you can't find one yourself, but remember, do not pay over the odds no matter what they try to sell you!
