Rude Royal ringtone is a hit

The ripples continue to spread from the King of Spain’s outburst at Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. The latest news is that half a million people have downloaded Juan Carlos’ “Por qué no te callas?” (“Why don’t you shut up?”) as a ringtone. Various companies offering either the original recording or an actor’s recreation of it have made about €1.5m from the downloads since the incident on 11 November.
