RoboTouch brings NES controller to iPad

Every now and again something comes along that befuddles us to such a degree that we have to share it with you, our dear readers: take a look at the video below for instance, and see if you can work out what on earth possessed its creator to construct a system, featuring levers and hydraulics, so he (and it was most definitely a he) could play a game on his iPad with an old NES controller.

This guy, who goes by the name Joven, who has used an Arduino board to control a set of servos, which in turn articulate conductive arms to touch the screen in the right places, so that you don’t have to worry about holding your chunky tablet the whole time you’re playing Reckless Racing. They're calling it the RoboTouch, and it’s pretty neat, if ultimately far too complicated and fiddly for the average user.
