For those of us without sat nav systems with built-in parking cameras, Panasonic has launched the first bolt-on device to help with parking.
Quite why it’s taken so long for someone to come up with a camera that fits to your bumper and beams pictures to a screen on your dash is beyond us. This one currently retails at around $350 (about £175), so it’s not a cheap gimmick.
This nifty little device switches on when you put the car into reverse and links easily to a DVD player for some in-car (stationary) entertainment.
So, if you want to save your neck muscles and don’t want to have to listen to your partner shouting “to me, to me… left-hand down a bit” as you try and manoeuvre your Prius into a tight spot, this is just the job.
