It’s just over a week until team-based shooter Brink is released in the UK, and Bethesda are pumping out the tutorial trailers at a rate of knots to promote the game. Today we can see how each class of player effects the game, and what special abilities each class has, with each having clearly defined roles for accomplishing certain types of missions.
This could come across as a bit restrictive, but that’s forgetting the crucial thing about the classes: ‘Once in-game, you are not tied to any one class. You can change class at any time by acting with a friendly command post.’ That’s straight from the developer’s mouth, and it means that it actually adds another tactical level to the gameplay. That’s something we like the look of, and why we’re backing this to be a barnstorming game, particularly in the multiplayer arena.
