We don’t know about you, but the Halo series has always left us sort of cold. There’s always been something mildly detached about the whole experience, despite the obvious technical proficiency behind the game, and we just don’t like it. However we’ve seen some things with Halo Reach that give us cause to think we might break our duck with the game, and the latest stuff we’ve seen on YouTube has only made us more convinced of the game’s potential greatness.
Gametrailers has released a lovely new episode, during which they show a boatload of beta footage of multiplayer gameplay (all of which looks spectacular fun) and chat with Bungie community director Brian Jarrard. He fails to satisfactorily explain why the technology in a prequel game is better than what we found in the original Halo, but we’ll let him off.
