O2 have published new pricing details of how you can get the new iPhone without having to sign up for a monthly contract. The Pay & Go version of Apple's 3G 8GB handset will cost £349.99 while the 16GB version will retail at £399.99.
The price includes Wi-Fi and unlimited web browsing for the first year and then £10 a month after that. The Pay & Go iPhone 3G will be available in 02 shops on September 16 only a few months after the bill phone version was launched.
The move should see Apple shift even more new iPhones with many customers initially being put off by the idea of having to sign up to a monthly bill. Hopefully this time round O2 will have enough iPhone 3Gs to meet customer demand.
