Not so sexy any more

Craigslist, that famous website that allows you to advertise anything you wanted from sweet innocent children's pink bicycles to disgusting bedroom depravity that must be banned, has ditched its erotic services section after it was claimed by the authorities that it promoted prostitution.

However, they've replaced it with a new 'adult services' section that will instead be 'closely monitored'. How exactly this is different to the old version we don't know.

Pressure has grown on the company since the death of Julissa Brisman, who was shot dead in Boston last month by a man who responded to her ad as a 'masseuse', and Tom Dart, an Illinois Sheriff even sued them.

'We are optimistic that the new balance struck will be an acceptable compromise,' said the wonderfully-named Jim Buckmaster, CEO of the site.
