Nokia's Lumia 2520 is super fast with its 4G connectivity

The war of tablets continues and Nokia is not just going to stand behind while other brands grab their share of a techie hungry market. Nokia’s Lumia 2520 is set for release to the general public on November 22. But why should you go for Nokia? Is it worth switching to this brand?

In spite of the crowded or even saturated tablet market, Nokia decided to join the bandwagon and came up with Nokia’s Lumia 2520. First revealed at the Nokia World show in Abu Dhabi, the tablet will be released alongside other Nokia and Microsoft products. It will share stellar billing with Microsoft’s Xbox One and the Lumia 1520. The tablet will feature the following:

  • Snapdragon 800 CPU
  • Adreno 330GPU
  • 10.1-inch screen
  • 1920x1080 pixel resolution
  • 32GB built-in storage
  • 6.7 mega pixel rear camera with Zeiss optics

Selling features

With the above specs in mind, the Nokia Lumia is indeed a fast tablet. Its main advantage is the 4G LTE connectivity for reliable and fast connection. It is equipped with 2 USB ports to connect extra devices on your tablet. Furthermore, it charges very quickly and the screen images are sharp and clear. It also comes with a keyboard cover similar to Microsoft’s Surface. In addition, it will come preloaded with apps such as HERE maps and Storyteller image application, among others.


Depending on whether you will get the tablet with a plan, the Nokia Lumia 2520 will sell at $199 on contract and $549 without a contract. In the US, the tablet will be available from AT&T and Verizon. There is no word yet when it will be released in the UK market.

To buy or not to buy

Nokia’s Lumia 2520 has things going for it especially if you want a productivity suite on your device. However,it is not exactly the cheapest brand in the market today, but if you have the spare cash, you just might treat yourself to these goodies from Microsoft and Nokia come November 22.
