Find a Nintendo Wii Console Cheap

Black or White?

It is a common misconception that the black and white Nintendo Wii consoles are a different specification. The only difference between the two products is the obvious one — the colour.

Decide whether you want to buy a white or black Nintendo Wii console before you start searching for the cheapest product on the market. As of September 2011, there are no real prices differences between the two colours.

Console or Bundle?

Prior to starting your price search, you should also work out whether you want to buy a Nintendo Wii console cheap alone or as part of a bundle deal that includes Wii "nunchuck" remotes, games and, often, a Wii board.

Though purchasing a Nintendo Wii console on its own is likely to be cheaper initially, you definitely need at least one remote and one game to use your console.

As such, you can make a considerable saving in the long run by buying a package deal that includes at least a few Wii remotes, games and accessories.

Finding the Best Price

Visit your local electronics and game shops, such as HMV, Game and Argos and compare the prices of both Wii consoles and Wii package deals.

Remember which store had the best price and what that figure was before searching online for a Nintendo Wii console cheap.

Online

When searching online, you can find both first and second hand Nintendo Wii consoles.

Use websites such as Pricerunner.co.uk, Which.co.uk and Dooyoo.co.uk and enter "Nintendo Wii" to find the latest and cheapest deals for new consoles.

Visit sites such as Gumtree.co.uk, Amazon.co.uk and Ebay.co.uk to find second hand or ex-demonstration Nintendo Wiis, which are often as cheap as half the price of the original, first hand product.

You can currently buy a Nintendo Wii black and a black remote for £109.99 at Game.co.uk, while the same product but second hand can be bought for as low as £68.99 on Amazon.co.uk (as of September 2011).
