Apart from being the world’s worst dressed human and demi-god of all things mp3, Apple chieftain Steve Jobs is also a very rich man. During his well publicized dose of the big C last year he was forced to take a medical sabbatical and, while on leave, a chap called Timothy Cook took the helm. According to just published figures, the burden of managing the coolest company in the world earned Cook a his normal salary (a cool $1.6m including stocks) as well as a one-off bonus of $5m. Niiiiiice! He was personally commended by Jobs himself who said Cook gave an ‘outstanding performance’. That's nice too. But the money's niiiiiicer.
How do you like them Apples? Clearly paid direct into his high interest account with immediate affect.
