A fifth of companies prevent their employees from accessing social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook, according to a new survey from security firm McAfee.

Seriously, a fifth? One in five? 20 per cent? If anything, that figure’s surprisingly low. Surely IT directors and chief executives couldn’t be spending their own highly remunerated time poking their friends and throwing sheep around… could they?
