The next version of Gran Turismo will come with added Top Gear. The driving simulator, which has been a killer app for the PlayStation from day one, will include access to an online channel where gamers can download episodes of the BBC show, and get the latest car news. They’ll also be able to test their skills on the Top Gear test track, included in the game (presumably driving a Reasonably Priced Car).

While viewers and gamers will probably love it, we’re not sure Clarkson, Hammond or May would know a PlayStation 3 if they ran one over. Let’s just hope they stop short of adding commentary…
