Nintendo unveil Wii MotionPlus at E3 200815:50 Wed 16 July 2008 Nintendo has unveiled a new motion controller add-on for the Wii at E3 2008, the computer and video games trade show held annually in Los Angeles. The company say that the Wii MotionPlus will mean greater gaming realism for the world's most popular console. The new add-on plugs into the existing Wii controller and is able to register even the smallest of movements. Nintendo gave the world a glimpse of the potential of the Wii MotionPlus with sneak previews of titles such as Wii Music and the impressive looking Star Wars title 'Attack of the Clones'. Nintendo are looking to build on the success of the Wii which has sold over 10m consoles wordlwide, shifting over 200,000 units each week in Europe alone. Rival company Sony unveiled plans to release an 80-gigabyte version of the PS3 as it tries to compete with the Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360.
