Gadget makers have been getting a bad press lately from environmental groups. Greenpeace’s latest Guide to Greener Electronics slammed Nintendo, Microsoft and Philips but had little time for the rest of the industry either, and now it seems that the tide might be turning (even if it is rising at the same time).

Now Nokia and Sony have joined a group pledging to “support the reduction of global carbon emissions” by 50% by 2050. Staying indoors all day wired up to the PlayStation 10 through our Nokia full-body virtual reality suit should do the trick…
