Wii rule(s)17:54 Mon 24 December 2007 Wii sales are going through the roof. Anyone trying to get their hands on one before Xmas is on a hiding to nothing. It’s the fastest console to sell a million. And Nintendo DS is selling more units than you can shake a joystick at.So what’s the appeal of the mighty Wii? A hell of a lot of advertising is likely to have something to do with it. That and the fact the games – or at least some of them – are genuinely innovative. If you’ve not had a go on one – because you don’t ‘do’ consoles – you’re missing out on some genuine entertainment.
