McAfee wants spam volunteers13:03 Thu 20 December 2007
The “Super Spam Me” project will pay the e-martyrs £300 for their sacrifice, and will monitor all the spam they receive. Of course, you will suffer any consequences of your reckless clicking – though McAfee will presumably suggest they can help with that. What do you think? We’re seriously considering sacrificing one of our old webmail addresses for the greater good – after making sure our PC is locked down, of course. The project kicks off in January. If you’re interested in taking part, email superspam@redconsultancy.com with your age, sex, occupation, daytime phone number and the average number of hours you spend online. Don’t send them any spam though… (Image: from cursed things' flickr stream) On the web |
