Mortal Kombat X movement list, combos and fatalities
Mortal Kombat X, which was released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 14 April 2015, features 25 playable characters and multiple fighting styles so there’s a lot to master. This Mortal Kombat X movement list, combos and fatalities guide will help you get the most out of the game.Training Mode
With so much choice selecting a character is a daunting task. Before you decide on a character check out the three different fighting styles available as they vary wildly. Remember that Mortal Kombat X is very different to Mortal Kombat 9 so even franchise veterans will take time to adapt. Use the training mode to get a handle on the game before you start with multiplayer action.
Once you’ve selected a character and got use to them through the training mode, it’s time to fight. Before you do though why not use the training mode to familiarise yourself with the opposition? The best way to defend against new characters is to have played as them so go through all 25.
This is very important with MKX as there are now more meters to keep an eye on. In addition to the standard meters that control your X-Ray attacks and Enhanced Special Moves, you also have a stamina meter to keep an eye on.
Enhanced special moves
Most of the characters have an enhanced special move that has armour. What this means is that a well-timed attack with the enhanced special move will go through one of your opponent’s attacks. Master these because you can then put pressure on your opponent or at least interrupt their attacks.
