We have a general rule here at DigitalEdge that tends to stand us in good stead when talking to other gamers: if you don’t like Little Big Planet then you don’t have a soul. Some might consider this a somewhat harsh assessment of what is essentially differing taste, but really, screw them – it’s one of the most joyous games ever brought to console, with a vibrant community built around the custom level building.
The same is almost certainly going to be true of the sequel, which is fast approaching the latter stages of development. If you listen to the revealing interview with Alex Evans, one of the big bods behind the game’s developer Media Molecule, it sound really ace, with all the customising features deepened and simplified, while you will be able to make movies with the Sackboys.
