iPhone 4th Gen update

When Gray Powell - the Apple Software Engineer who celebrated his 27th birthday by getting drunk in a German theme pub and leaving behind the prototype of the incoming iPhone 4th Generation – was rumbled, it was thought that CEO Steve Job would give him more than a slight rollicking. But in a new twist Mr Powell has somehow managed to get the opposite.

Gizmondo, the geek gadget website who managed to get their hands on the eagerly anticipated iPhone had a cheeky peek at Powell’s Facebook and noticed he had drunkenly posted the update: ‘I underestimated how good German beer is’. To gain some cheap and easy PR, Lufthansa have now offered Powell a free trip to Germany to try some real German beer. Lufthansa’s Nicola C made the offer on Twitter saying: ‘we all know how frustrating it can be to lose personal items, especially when it is such a unique item.’

Surely if Apple were considering giving poor old Gray Powell go they won’t after all this free global PR?
