Is the iPad 64gb right for you?

If you're eyeing up the iPad as a purchase, there a number of things to consider. Firstly, what kind of use will it be for? If you're a heavy downloader we recommend getting the iPad 64gb, in fact, we'd recommend this version of the iPad no matter what you'll be using it for.

Will you be using applications that require flash? Due to a long-running dispute, it isn't possible to use Flash player on Apple products. A surprising number of websites and applications use flash, so all of these will be off limits to your iPad.

Will you be inputting a lot of text? As with all touch screens, the iPad can be quite cumbersome when it comes to inputting text. Anything more than a simple email will leave you frustrated. There is a workaround for this with Apple's official keyboard accessory.

Do you need USB inputs? If you're used to keeping movies on a portable medium like a hard-drive, then the iPad will leave you slightly miffed. Like all Apple products, the iPad lacks a USB slot, leaving most PC accessories redundant. This will prevent you from hooking up a camera, or any other item that requires a USB slot.

We seem to be mostly pointing out negatives of the iPad here, but it's also a wonderful machine! Here are some advantages you'll be enjoying if you snap up Apple's latest gizmo.

Battery Life - From suspect beginnings, Apple's products now enjoy brilliant battery life, and the iPad is no exception, going up to ten hours for heavy use on a single charge!

The App Store - Like the iPhone, the iPad enjoys access to Apple's unrivalled App Store. The options in the App Store are limitless. It's quite possible to find an app relating to anything! From games to encyclopedias, it's all here!
