Google + iPhone = fun

For something they're officially calling a 'project' and not a proper product, Google certainly seem to be pouring some resources into Google+. Only a few weeks after it launched on the web - and immediately picked up millions of users - it's now been gifted its very own iPhone app.

Available free in the App Store, Google+ for iPhone lets you read updates from the 'circles' of your choice, and tag photos and statuses with your location. And the Huddle feature, for group messaging, works really well mobile.

It'll be interesting to see if Google manage to make a big success of the Google+ app. Facebook's app has long been the most popular in the App Store - might Google+ one day manage to displace it?
