Are you excited about yet another version of FIFA? Or are you just plain annoyed that they have to released a new version for £40 every year instead of making expansion packs that would cost half the price? We’re in the second group, by the way.
However, this year EA are bringing in something that might genuinely make FIFA 11 worth shelling out for: Creation Centre, which will allow you to create your own football teams and players. It will be based at www.easportsfootball.com, and it will let you create a player by appearance, accessories and attributes. As well as that, you can create a team with unique kit and crest and home stadium. Neat, we reckon, especially given that you can use them in online Tournaments. It all launches on 1 October for us Brits.
‘Having the ability to customize content in FIFA 11 to the degree where you are creating players and teams, choosing player attributes and managing team tactics effortlessly from the web opens up a world of possibilities of original content that fans will be able to create,’ said Fifa 11 producer David Rutter. ‘Creation Centre will perfectly compliment the official league and team licenses that are the hallmark of the FIFA franchise.’
