Oh dear. Toshiba probably thought they were on to a winner when they slipped their Folio 100 tablet into PC World stores a couple of weeks ago. After all, it was several hundred pounds cheaper than Samsung's Galaxy Tab - just £329 - and had a larger, ten-inch screen.

Well, evidently some corners were cut to achieve that low price. Less than two weeks after launch, PC World has stopped selling the tablet, because of 'a high return rate from disappointed customers.'

Note to manufacturers: we know there's a rush to get into what analysts (OK, and journalists) like to call 'the Android tablet space.' But releasing things which barely work is generally not going to work out well...
