Fans will shape Modern Warfare 2 DLC

Infinity Ward, the developer behind the much-anticipated Modern Warfare 2 has announced that the new game will be going big on getting the online community to help define how the post-launch DLC will pan out. Probably in a bid to stop people complaining about the whopping £54.99 launch price.

‘As far as DLC goes, we love it and plan to support Modern Warfare 2 with heavy post-launch support,’ Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward big man, told MTV. ‘The fact that we confirmed at least two map packs doesn't mean there won't be more.

‘We plan on shaping our DLC based on community feedback from the full game, and the first two DLC map packs. Therefore, the community will really determine what comes after that.’ So they charge you to the hilt and then expect you to do their work for them after that? Pfffft.
