Facebook users give new look the thumbs down

Any one logging onto Facebook over the last week will have noticed that the popular social networking site has undergone a major facelift. It seems that Mark Zuckerburg & Co. have decided to make their site resemble flavour of the month Twitter.

But the changes have gone down like a cup of cold sick with Facebookers according to the results of an application which surveys user opinions. Of the 800,000 people surveyed a staggering 94% gave the new look the thumbs down.

The comments left on the apps' homepage are less than complementary: "Missing so many features I used to adore. I am saddened," and "I hate it and if it doesn’t change I will only check it once in a while." It remains to be seen if the user revolt will have any effect.
