Facebook is letting users have a sneak peek at the popular social networking site's new design. The facelift will be officially unveiled on July 23 by Facebook head honcho Mark Zuckerberg, but users can log in to their accounts and then check out the new look here.
As reported a few months back, the new look is cleaner and more spacious with applications, such as the obligatory 'wall', now accessed via tabs at the top of the page. There is much more emphasis on photos which is also going to be a big change from Facebook 1.1.
First impressions of the Facebook makeover are good, the new design hasn't compromised the site's usability and it is much easier on the eye. All that remains to be seen is how Facebook users will react to the changes when they go live later this year.
