Facebook's new look is set to become permanent whether the social networking site's users like it or not. Since it was unveiled on July 23, Facebookers have been able to switch back and forth between the old and the new design.
But from today they will be stuck with the new cleaner, more spacious look in which the applications are accessed via tabs on the bottom of the page. The facelift, however, hasn't gone down well with all of Facebook's 100 million users.
Over a million people, who want to retain the old design, have signed up to a group called "Petition Against the New Facebook". But a spokesman for Facebook claims that over 30 million users have openly adopted the new look. The choice now it seems is between embracing change or cancelling your account.
