Dear UK operators, we'd like you to sell this phone. kthankxbai x

See that? In the pic? That's the Samsung Replenish. It's a new phone that's coming out in America on the Sprint network. And we'd very much like it if it came over here.

Now, we'd like to pretend that's because of the Replenish's apparent main selling point, its green credentials. It's made of 82% recyclable materials, and 32% of recycled materials, which might not sound a lot but is actually very impressive by the eco-horror standards of mobile phones.

But we don't care about that. Neither are we jazzed about the specs, which are respectable but not amazing: 2.8" QVGA display, 2MP camera, nothing special there. No, it's the shape. The Replenish is the first Android phone we've seen which combines a portrait screen with a portrait QWERTY keyboard. No sliding a keyboard out and turning your phone over like an uber-geek, and no struggling with a landscape screen your apps don't know what to do with. It's a real phone for real people who want real apps, but like a physical keyboard - but not sliding and twisting things around.

So let's make this happen, yeah? Orange? O2? Somebody?
