BlackBerry Storm to take on iPhone in Christmas Market
Vodafone and the makers of the BlackBerry, RIM, are teaming up to release a touchscreen phone to challenge Apple and iPhone in time for the Christmas market.
The BlackBerry Storm handset, which features an innovative clickable screen, will be offered free by Vodaphone to anyone willing to sign up to a £35 per month contract. A pay as you go version should be released sometime in the New Year.
The handset will be competing with the iPhone as well as Google and T-Mobile’s new G1 handset. With Nokia and Orange also planning to release the 5800 XpressMusic, you'd almost swear that the credit crunch had never happened.
