As is the way with shiny new technology, digital music players have been getting smaller and smaller. Apple’s teeny iPod Shuffle is the good-looking choice, and some terrific lateral thinking has discovered a way to take advantage of its small size.
The Bevy is a cheap (£10) but brilliant gadget that’s a protective case for your Shuffle, a keyring and – best of all – a bottle opener. The case even helps you keep the Shuffle’s cord tidy – ideal for those moments when your motor skills mysteriously desert you at the end of an evening and you find yourself trussed up in several feet of flex. Note to designers – can the next version stop us leaving our card behind the bar?
