BBC iPlayer approved, catch up TV service coming
The powers that be (aka the BBC Trust) have finally given the Beeb the nod for the BBC iPlayer - the catch-up TV service which will offer downloads of shows that have been broadcast in the preceding seven days. Downloads can be kept for 30 days.
The service will also include “series stacking” for 15 percent of content on demand, which will let you download a full show series until up to seven days after the last installment of the series is broadcast (which can also be kept for up to 30 days).
