BAFTA Video Games awards

The GAME BAFTA Video Game awards were held last night, with all the great and good from the industry hoping that they would be receiving the most pats on the back, being bestowed awards that weren’t voted for by the people who actually buy the games. Still it was probably a nice old booze up, eh?

Anyway, no one game stood out from the crowd this year, and with the number of ‘Triple A’ titles on display it’s not hard to see why: only Heavy Rain picked up more than one gong, although they were some of the more minor awards, bagging Technical Innovation, Original Music and Story. It was still a big result for Sony, especially in the face of massive titles like Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Mass Effect 2 (which won Best Game). Want to see who won what? Simply scroll down.
