Wow. We thought we’d seen some brass neck, but we’re still seriously taken aback by this display of sheer chutzpah. Steve Hirsch, head of Vivid, the world’s biggest porn studio, says that Google and Yahoo! “need to erect stronger barriers” to stop children seeing adult material (such as “Teen Sex Camp”, available now from Vivid DVD).
“It is about protecting children”, said Hirsch, in a press release previewing his forthcoming address to the Yale School of Management (we’re not making this up). He argues that ISPs also “need to be more responsible” about access to explicit material like “Ass Traffic” (Vivid DVD).
Google and Yahoo! have yet to respond…
