3D Telly next year

Sony has announced that it will be bringing out a brand new line of Bravia tellies next year that will be equipped to provide 3D technology next year. They’re planning on supporting it with a line of PS3 games, while Blu-ray players and Vaio laptops will all also be compatible with the new world of futuristic telly tech.

‘Today, 3D is clearly on its way to the mass market,’ said Sony CEO Howard Stringer to the audience at the IFA technology trade show in Berlin. He also made an appallingly clunky metaphor.

‘As with high definition a few years back, there are a variety of issues yet to be addressed. But the 3D train is on the track, and we at Sony are ready to drive it home.’ Oh dear. Still, the tellies will probably be good.
